Every fall, City Staff draft the budget for the upcoming year, to bring forward to Council for approval.

This is also the time when the City and Councillors will turn to residents to hear from them on what they would like to see reflected in next year’s budget.

As more information on the Draft Budget is released from the City of Ottawa, I will be updating this webpage with helpful information.

Now that the draft budget has been tabled, I have shared some information and a new survey on this page: Lauradudas.ca/draftbudget2025/.  

The Draft City Budget 2025 will be considered by City Council later this year. As your Councillor, I always want to make sure I am raising your concerns at City Hall. Below, you will find a short survey, where you can identify your priorities for next year’s City Budget. I look forward to hearing from you on what matters most to your family.

I will be hosting several community consultations on the Budget this year:

Joint East End Budget Consultation

  • Saturday, October 26 from 12:30 to 2 pm, Rendez-Vous Room in the Ray Friel Recreation Complex, 1585 Tenth Line Road

Ward-specific consultation drop-ins
