After much anticipation, it is finally time to enjoy the newly revitalized play structure at Champagne Park!
Councillor Laura Dudas, in partnership with the Chateauneuf Community Association, invites you to come celebrate the grand opening this Saturday, July 6 from 10:30 am – 11:30am. The celebration will take place in Champagne Park, located at 1861 Markwell Crescent.
There will be popsicles and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Thanks to the wonderful work of our community’s volunteers, the outdoor rinks at Bradley Ridge Park and Patrick Dugas Park have been incredible community assets.
Councillor Laura Dudas would like to support the work that is being done by providing funding from her Cash-in-Lieu of Parkland fund to provide skate changing and storage shelters for one or both parks.
These shelters are currently being used at a few parks in other areas of the city. If installed in our parks, they would be maintained and operated by the city, and they are durable and multi-purpose.
Community input it essential and the Councillor is seeking your feedback on these proposed shelters.
You can provide feedback by attending the following pop-up events:
Bradley Ridge Park Saturday June 15, 2019 noon – 1 p.m. 221 Radhika Ct.
Patrick DugasPark Thursday June 20, 2019 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. 550 Compass St.
