Happy holidays to you and your loved ones!
This is a special time of year, filled with family, friends and Christmas cheer. I look forward to gathering with my family, exploring the wonderous outdoor spaces here in the National Capital Region, and hope to be able to break out the skis as we roll into the new year!
Throughout December, I have kept up the Dudas family tradition of giving back to the community and helping those in need. Through the incredible efforts of the Orléans Cumberland Resource, Lifecentre Food Bank, Community Compassion Centre and the Knights of Columbus Council 9005 at Good Shepherd, I was able to spend time volunteering giving out Christmas Hampers, holiday meals and gifts, and with food drive collection. There are so many wonderful organizations working to take care of our community’s most vulnerable, and if you can, please consider helping them with a gift of time, food or donations.
I would also like to take a moment to recognize, and express my gratitude, to all the first responders and frontline workers who will be on duty and working this holiday. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, and I hope you find some time to relax with your loved ones.
To all the residents of Orléans West-Innes, I want to wish you all the happiness in the world this holiday season. From my family to yours, wishing you a safe and happy holiday!
