Vote on your favourite design for the new Chapel Hill Park splash pad!
I am so happy to share the proposed designs for the new Chapel Hill Park splash pad, which includes two different layout and water feature options, a significant improvement on the existing water feature. Residents have an opportunity to provide their feedback on which version they would most like to see installed in the park in the upcoming year.
Due to the need to expand the base of the pad to allow for better features, and to avoid negatively impacting nearby old-growth trees, the proposed splash pad will be relocated closer to existing water and hydro services in an open area east of the baseball field. A new picnic table will be placed in the location of the former spray post.
The design layout has integrated the splash pad with the new covered seating area being installed at Chapel Hill Park. Staff have worked to ensure that the puddle rinks will not be impacted in the winter months.

Complete the City’s survey until November 3, 2021.
In-person consultation on Monday, October 25, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m at Chapel Hill Park.
I will be onsite with City staff at Chapel Hill Park to answer questions about each design.
