This is a magical time of the year, as we gather with our loved ones, friends and neighbours, to celebrate the holidays and ring in a new year. I always try to take a moment and reflect on the past year, both in my personal and professional life. I continue to be so honoured to serve our community as your City Councillor. As many are aware, this year has not been the easiest for me, having dealt with major and unexpected health issues with my eyes, but I wanted to express my immense gratitude for your well wishes during a truly trying time.
Throughout 2024, our community has proven time and again how supportive we are. There is never a shortage of folks willing to raise their hand when asked to volunteer and get involved for the betterment of our area, and I am so incredibly grateful and appreciative of that. It truly makes our community special and a wonderful place to live.
As work, school and routines begin to wind down for the holiday break, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year!
