Spring is finally here, bringing a renewed sense of energy to our community. I want to begin by thanking everyone who joined me at Egg-Stravaganza. This marked my fourth time running Egg-Stravaganza, and it just keeps getting better every year. It was such a joy to see so many familiar faces and meet lots of new ones as families came out to enjoy the fresh air, the egg hunt, and all the fun activities we had planned. I always love seeing the kids running through the orchard and sharing great conversations with neighbours—it feels like a true celebration of community and connection.
I could not have done it without the incredible support of Myers Orléans and Kiwanis Eastern Ottawa. And, of course, my heartfelt thanks also go to the Henrie family for once again opening the gates of the beautiful Orléans Fruit Farm for us. Their generosity makes this event feel so special and is the perfect backdrop for this spring tradition. I’m already looking forward to next year!
