February 24, 2021 – City of Ottawa
The City of Ottawa has provided an update on the COVID-19 Vaccination rollout. Pop-up clinics will launch at the beginning of March for high risk communities as identified and prioritized by the Province.
As more doses become available, community and mobile clinics across the city will open, including a location at 265 Centrum Blvd. When that occurs, residents in the broader community, starting with those 80 years or older, will be able to book appointments at those locations.
Below you will find a slide presentation that explains in further detail, the most up-to-date vaccination plan for Ottawa. If the page does not load properly for you, you may also find a copy of the document HERE.
The City’s Emergency Operations Centre and Ottawa Public Health will continue doing everything possible to ensure Ottawa residents who want to receive the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to access it as quickly and efficiently as possible, this is dependent on vaccine supply and in alignment with the provincial framework. The total amount of vaccines that will be distributed to the City of Ottawa and precise delivery dates are not yet known. These decisions are made by the province and subject to vaccine procurement from the federal government.
