On Sunday, March 8, 2020, the route 25 and 28 boarding stops will change locations at Blair station.
Many riders have flagged to me the need for a fix to the overcrowding at Stop D during the east-bound afternoon commute. I raised these concerns at the Transit Commission and at various meeting with OC Transpo staff. On February 7, 2020, OC Transpo staff, myself and my east-end colleagues met and reviewed a number of proposed options brought forth by staff, including this stop relocation. I am glad to see that steps are being taken to improve the platform layout, and traffic flows at Blair.
As of March 8, routes 25 Millenium and 28 Louis Riel and Blackburn Hamlet will move from Stop D to Stop B. I look forward to trying the new layout, and hearing from residents on the new improvements.
