The Government of Canada has announced:
- Support for farmers and agri-food businesses
- Support for research and life-science companies in supporting their efforts to combat COVID-19, including the development of vaccines and treatments
- The closure of the NCC’s Gatineau Park as of 9 p.m., Monday, March 23, until further notice

The Province of Ontario has announced:
- All non-essential workplaces have been ordered closed for 14 days as of Tuesday, March 24 at 11:59 p.m. A full list of businesses permitted to remain open is expected from the province on March 24
- New funding for food banks, homeless shelters and individuals
- An enhanced online self-assessment tool
